Genie telescopic S-booms have working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Compared with various other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a much greater range of horizontal reach. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access confined areas during industrial and construction applications. They are also known for their ability to maneuver through a job site quickly and with great drive speed and traction. The platform turns 160° hydraulically and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators. 360° continuous rotating turntables provide operators quick, easy positioning.
The Z-135/70 model comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, that is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This particular model can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks that were previously inaccessible by typical jibs. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 unit gives the user 8.83 meters of over and up reach. This feature enables over and up reaching tasks to be done with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System built by Genie allows for time to be saved when both primary and secondary booms platform has to either be lifted or lowered without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be elevated fully at the same time. Both of these features of the Genie Fast Mast system lessens the time needed for users to descend and ascend, increasing both effectiveness and productivity.
