Some of the new technologies which are on the market are initially applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through functionality and durability testing. The company conducts numerous controlled field tests and reliability development so as to make sure that their products are very safe.
Some of Yale's innovative designs and technology which has been integrated as standard features for their fleet so as to enhance overall safety include the following:
Operator Compartment Ergonomics and Controls
The operator compartment has been designed with ergonomics in mind, utilizing state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions and fatigue. These extra comforts help to increase overall production.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Adjustable operator controls enable the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machinery user friendly, regardless of who is utilizing it. Before starting their shift, the operator could make sure she or he is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
The Operator Presence System prevents the hydraulic system operation from being used if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on IC engine truck models.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The LPG tank has a drop down design that brings it out from the center of the vehicle to the natural handling position of the operator which makes it way easier to change.
