Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system offers much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer a large range of optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you accomplish your requirements, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If both precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, many attachments have been engineered and made such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more precisely. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being made and designed all the time and will be available in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for instance, load-reach management devices could restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the boom's extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
