Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck offering great height and versatility. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the load to great heights. Standard lift trucks aren't able to move the load away from and towards the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly used in construction and agriculture. It is recommended for applications where greater control and lift is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift would normally use a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specifically to lift staff. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a chain or strap which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
